  General Notes:

"Nana" as she was called did not have an easy life. I remember her being a very pretty lady, dark wavy hair and brown eyes. She trained as a seamstress in Manchester and at 20 yrs old, married Frank Ormond. He was a Cinema Manager at the time in Tylorstown and very much older than her.
She lived in Newry, Co. Down, Ieland for a while, where she had one child. She then moved to Wlaes where she had another child. She then moved to Liverpool and had her last child there. She lived at Inego Road, West Derby.
Frank had an electrical shop and was doing well. The shop caught fire. As it was uninsured they were then "out in the streets".They moved to many places in London where Frank left her with three children( he had left his last wife in London with two children).
It was a struggle for her. her son Frank recalls having nothing to eat all day except a piece of bread.
Nana developed cancer in the '40's. The radiation treatment left her unwell. She then developed laryngeal cancer in the '60's where she had a laryngectomy. She lived in a flat at Hampton Park, Bristol It was owned by her sister, Mary and was originally a Nursing Home called Semley House

Margaret married Frank Sinclair Gay-Ormond on 22 Oct 1913 in Tylorstown, Ystradyfodwg, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ (Frank Sinclair Gay-Ormond was born circa 1871 in Londonderry, Northern Ireland ¹ and died in 1945 in Chase Farm Hospital, London.)
