Just a note: The Knights of Lingfield, Surrey are not the same family as the Knights of Horsley and Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. This misinformation keeps getting perpetuated. The Gloucestershire Knight family (my own) never traveled to Lingfield (123.5 miles away) just to give birth and come back. The History Lady in England is a member of the Knight family you mentioned and gave me invaluable information. She thinks someone long ago started doing research and made the wrong conclusions. There is also a Horsley in the Surrey area, so this is maybe where the mistakes originally happened. Linda
