General Notes:
So I've finally tracked down the "a graham' who witnessed William's death. I had doubts she ever was a cousin and wondered if she was a partner. But she appears to tbe the wife of Robert Graham, her name is Alice and her maiden name was Duncan, her mother was a Shipley - none of these are connected to the Bailey Parkinson's as far as I can tell. I must have got this from the 1921 Census but as i currently don't have a sub for this - I'm not going to pay again to review 3 11
Research Notes:
One GRO death listing for Tynemouth is a strong possibility, but when it arrived the occupation was 'electrician' and the informer was a cousin with the last name Graham, which does not fit with William at all. However, the date of death matches exactly and this William Parkinson was listed as William Henry Baily Parkinson. Seems like too many points of reference for it not to be him, but why was he working as an electrician, yet his mother was putting his " in memoriam " in The Stage?
On balance I'm accepting that this is our William Bailey Parkinson
A very long shot, but just possible that William was working as a Cinema Theatre Manager in Douglas IOM (The Strand Cinema Company). There was a W. Parkinson Manager there from October 1915 until at least early October 1917. After October 1917 for a few weeks Manager is left blank in the ads and by November 22, 1917 there is a new manager.
So, where did William go after Oct 3, 1917?

This makes more sense now that I know that in 1911 William was a Bioscope Operator.
And it's not so much of a leap from Bioscope operator to electrician.
And this ties in very well that "William invented something that that improved the early movie screens" - this comment was made to me at Rene's funeral in 1986 by Mae, Rene's assistant.
His mother put an 'in memoriam' ad in the Stage for 3 consecutive years, 1919, 1920 and 1921.
