1 Web Page, http://castlehom.com/blog/2011/08/22/coming-to-america/#comments. Andrew Nidd Larratt, Priscilla Browning and 7 children (one girl is missing in the photo \endash my father's father was the oldest of the male children in this photo \endash my recall is that he was taller than my dad \endash 6'6" maybe \endash Richard Larratt)

Much of the information about Priscilla and Andrew is from the St. Firmin's Church in Thurlby, England. In 1888 they gathered a few belongings and their 8 children and boarded a cattle boat to the U.S.A.

They landed in New York Harbour and then journeyed to Morris, Illinois, staying for only one year. Moved then to Larchwood (Lyon County) Iowa and stayed seven years. Then in '96 they moved to Sykeston, North Dakota. Again he invested in farmland and they were profitable. The family moved into Carrington, from there he was able to oversee the farm operations and get a better education for their children.
