(Cir 1813-After 1844)
Although Susan Millard listed John Millard as her father on her marriage certificate, this has proven to be untrue. It is possible he was called John, but not Millard, it's possible she was actually referring to James (John?) Jarman her stepfather who was a mason.
Noted events in his life were:
1. Occupation: Mason.
Unnamed had a relationship with Mary MILLARD [MRIN: 193], daughter of James MILLARD and Jane POOLE . (Mary MILLARD was born in 1813 in Ashcott, Somerset, England, 3, christened on 20 Sep 1813 in Ashcott, Somerset, England, 4 and died Mar Q 1877 in Bridgewater, Somerset, England, 5.)

Mason; The John Millard mentioned in this marriage certificate has not been demonstrated to be Susan's father, she was listed as illegitimate on her birth certication. It is possible that the John is actually a reference to her stepfather although he was actually called James, not John
