Mr Clement William Nidd, of the Manor House, Creeton, near Bourne, well known throughout Lincolnshire and adjoining counties, as a breeder of shorthorn cattle, died on Sunday. Mr. Nidd who held several appointments, had the distinction of being the oldest member of the Bourne Guardians. He had sat on the board for 58 years, being appointed on the formation of the Union in 1836. Aged 84.
