Known as "Dai", lived in Hightown, newport. Had a child with his first wife - Lucy, who married a Vic parsons. Di's wife was admitted into a "mental home". Her sister cared for the children and he had more children by her. Pearl and george were to of their names.

I think the first wife was Annie, she was the mother of most of the children as they got mamrried in 1904
Lucy, shows up on the 1921 Census as 'sister in law' and there are 2 'pincott' children listed as step childrent ot david, but they are only 1 and 4 so after all of he 'day' children.
wife Annie is absent for the 1921 census but can be found int he Glamorgan Country Asylum 3
