John L. Hales, beloved husband of Verda U. Hales, loving father of Mary U. Tiffany, Utahna Reynolds, John Leland Hales, Jr., and Saraiane Hales of Sacramento and Barbara Blim of Eau Claire, Wis., son of Charles H. and Eva May Hales, grandfather of Roland M. and Laurel L. Tiffany and Paul Frederick Schwarm (not clear as on crease, could be Schwarn); a native of Utah, aged 48 years. Friends are invited to attend the funeral Monday at 2 P.M. from the homestead chapel of the L.D.S. Forty Sixth and U Streets. James R. Garlick, funeral directors. Interment Odd Fellows Lawn.
