there is an ellen turner death in Nottingham death in march 1900 nottingham 7b 237 - age at 69 is 10 years too old , but it is still a possible,

There is a Helen Turner died in Basford - Dec 1900 7b 131 - right age if Ellen/Helen is the same person. Could well be our jane's mother. Is it worth 7 UK pound, that is the question. Bit of a flyer though.


there is an ellen turner in the 1901 census in the nottingham area - could be interesting

aged 46 (a little young but not that bad)

found another one in 1901 ellen turner widow see sheet in file
but found a helen turner death in 1900 nottingham aged 60 = very good age but then again, there is a Helen turner aged 50 wife of a John Turner Ag lab , pob ashby de la zouche - so perhaps not mine after all

there is an ellen turner widow born in c1842 in Ireleand seamstress, living next door to a John Butler

There is also a Ellen Turner death in 1894 age 50 therefore born 1844 which is a good fit ²
