when she was christened her father was a labourer at Stockbury, the Christening was performed by Richard Kinsman.
In the 1881 Census Caroline was living with her family at 32 John St. Rochester St. Margaret, Durham, England.

In the 1901 census RG13/724/39/35, it said she lived in the Civil Parish of Rochester St. Margaret Intra, Durham.
In the early 1900's she would move around living awhile with each of her children.
in 1916 she was living in Kent with her daughter Florence Mary, she insisted on the best room in the house, which was the front room and the biggest. When her daughter was doing some clothing sewing for her children, Caroline Ann would not let her use her own "Singer" Sewing machine, Florence Mary would have to handsew the repairs.
